Do you ever want to go back in time? Well, you can’t in real life. However, when building an app like we are this week, you can go back in time. In case something messes up or you have some issues, you can go back in time, and I’ll show you how.

For those of you just joining us, we are creating an app. So far, we have an app that will take our sermon audio, either live or uploaded. It will create an outline based upon that. Then it’ll also take that outline and make a sermon quiz based upon it. We mentioned having a simple focus for that original app and then adding to it as you go along. Make sure that the context window is cleared each and every time.

We’re going to reset the conversation here. The time machine that we just mentioned—you’ll see you have it here. You can go back and see what prompts we did. Also, if it was a desktop computer, I’m going to make that a little bit larger. If it’s a desktop computer here, you can see all of the different times that we made a change. You can go back in time if something messes up.

We’re going to add another feature and see if it will break it. Now we have it transcribe the audio, turn it into an outline, and give us a quiz. Now let’s go ahead. A lot of people like to read by pictures, so let’s add images that represent each main point in the outline. We’re just going to go ahead and send that one on.

To add the quiz, it took 56 seconds, I believe, and to add the images, it took 66 seconds to complete. Let’s go ahead and try it out. We’re once again going to upload the audio. There’s the audio sermon. You’ll see you have a send with Faith Christian Ministry. Point number two, faith endures. It added images, but I don’t know that I love that. We want to go back in time because we don’t really want to use that.

On a desktop, it’s much easier. I’m going to make this a little bit larger. We’re going to go over here, and when we click on this open version history, you’ll see all of the different ones. This is the one where we did the notes, so I’m going to restore it from that point. It’s really important to use that version history and to be able to go back in time. Make sure you’re logged in so that it will save things as you go along. You just need a Google account. That version history really makes a difference so that you can go back if it does something that you don’t love, like we didn’t love those images.
