How did you first hear the gospel? Was it a family member? A friend? Someone who knocked on your door? How was it the first time that you heard about the gospel?
You know, big days are a great way to invite people to church and to share the gospel with others. There’s actually a big day coming up right around the corner. It’s Easter, and we are so excited about what’s going on during Easter. But I’ll tell you this: use Easter to share the gospel with others. Don’t be afraid of a big day just because it’s big.
William Carey said that we should “expect great things from God and attempt great things for God.” It’s something that we should do. Big days help stretch our faith. Big days help people work. Big days help churches grow. Use this Easter as a big day event to share the gospel with others, and you’ll never know how God used it in others’ lives.
