So your event is finally over. There’s one last step. We’ve talked about planning, promoting. Today, we’re gonna talk about pondering.

Once your event is over, once it’s all said and done, you need to make sure that you take a little bit of time and reflect on how everything went. Consider again your purpose. Did everything that I want to happen, did it happen? Consider your planning. Was there something I made a mistake in? Is there something that, if I do this event again, might make it better? Consider your promoting. Consider your performance. The day of, did everything go well? Were my people taken care of? Look back on all of those steps.

And I would say when you are pondering, when you’re reflecting, it’s a lot like the same stage as the planning stage. I would say write down all those ideas that you thought, “This went well, this went bad, this I would do again, this I wouldn’t,” write it all down. And then, just like we asked you to brainstorm with somebody else, I’d say go to somebody you trust, maybe a helper at the event, maybe an attendee of the event, and ask them, “What do you think went well? I want your honest feedback. How can this be better?”

And so that is what I would do when I’m considering pondering and reflecting over this event. I hope that you can take something from this past week, from these past videos, and use them as you plan and promote your next event.
