Thank you for your patience during the entire month of November, every day, speaking about Thanksgiving. I hope I did not bore you, but I thank God for you.

Well, today is December 1st. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I love Christmas. I know it’s another secular song. It’s the most wonderful time of the year. I love Christmas.

My wife and I will begin immediately, probably, perhaps tonight. We’ll take a ride every night. We do every night of our life, generally take a 10-minute ride around. Go by some of our neighbor, our member’s house. But some of our folks decorate around here right after Christmas, right after Thanksgiving. And so homes are being decorated or are decorated. We’ll start to look at them. We’ll begin to look. We’ll drive here and there. We love to see it.

And I want December to be a wonderful month. Yes, there’s a secular song. And yes, jingle bells and the 12 days of Christmas. I love singing Silent Night. I love singing “Joy to the world, the Lord is come”. I love singing “O come, all ye faithful”. For what earthly reason would he leave heaven to come die for me?

Let’s just determine on this Friday, my challenge for today. Let’s determine today that we’re going to live every day this month, if the Lord tarries and we live to the fullest, enjoying this season. For Jesus is the reason for the season. Have a great day.
