I have a verse for all of us in 1 Corinthians 15:58. This is my life verse. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be you steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

Oh, look at this promise! For as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. You know, every day we have the privilege to look to our Savior, to look to Jesus. The Bible says, “Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith.” If we’re not careful, we keep our eyes on one another. And you know what? We’re all failures. Needless to say, we fail if we keep our eyes on each other. But we look to Jesus. Oh yes, He’s the perfect, sinless Son of God. He is the God. And praise God we know Him.

And you know what? I have another encouragement for you. Not only look to Jesus, oh, let’s lean on Jesus. We sing in our church, “What a fellowship, what a joy divine. Leaning on the everlasting arm.” Every day, lean on Him. Oh, He always takes care of His own.

I have an encouragement for you today. Learn of Jesus. Learn of Jesus. The Bible says, “That I may know Him.” Do you know Him today? If you have not been able to or not been born again, well, today’s the day to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to the Father but by Him. Are you born again? If not, today’s the day. I remember the day, December 28, 1989. I was a lost teenager. Praise God that night I placed my trust in Jesus Christ and He became my Savior. And He changed me from the inside out. Oh, let’s look to Jesus. Let’s lean on Jesus. Oh, let’s learn of Jesus. Oh, how about love Jesus?

There is a name I love to hear. Oh, how I love Jesus. I’m not talking about material love or human love. I’m talking about the love that He gave unto us, the type of love that only God can give. And, you know, we can get as close to that as possible. You know, we human beings, we love the lovable. Oh, but you cannot turn off God’s faucet of love. Let’s love Jesus every day.

Oh, let’s live for Jesus every day. So we got today, my encouragement to you is look to Jesus, lean on Jesus, learn of Jesus, love Jesus, and let’s live for Jesus.
