There was a great, great judge. His name was Samson. Started off so great, ended up so sad. His parents did not know how to raise him, and so they asked, “Could you give us advice? Can you give us direction how to raise him?” They did what the angel told them. They raised him for God. But he made some mistakes in life, and by the way, I’m not gonna fight. I’m not gonna, I’m not gonna attack Samson. He was weak, and we’re all weak.
But here’s the disappointing thing. When his eyes were gouged out, and when he was made fun of for being a one that trusted in God, just think how his parents must have felt. My challenge to all of us today, don’t be a disappointment to your wife. Don’t be a disappointment to your husband. Please hear me. Don’t be a disappointment to your children. Don’t be a disappointment to your parents. Don’t be a disappointment to God. All of us. May it not be said that my life disappointed others on the journey of life on this day.
Have a great day. God bless each of you.
