The Christmas story says in verse 15, “Luke 2:15: And it came to pass.” By the way, it always comes to pass. Underline those in 2024, all through your Bible, “it came to pass.” The angels are gone away into the heaven. The shepherds said one to another, “let us now go even unto Bethlehem and see this thing, which has come to pass that the Lord hath made known unto us. Let us go.” You know, there’s a message in the gospel, though the gospel is the word “go.” Let’s go, let’s go tell others of Christ. Let’s let’s go be a blessing to the poor, to the needy. Let’s take the gospel to the lost. Let’s go see our family or talk to our family.

Let’s just today let’s do something. It’s so close to Christmas. It’s probably too late to get anything in the mail by now. Christmas is coming, but it’s not too late to make a phone call, to knock on a door, to pass a track, to help somebody, to take some food, some cookies next door, a present next door. Do anything, but do something. Let’s go, let’s go. Let’s get with it. Those just those Shepherds, they always amazed me because that’s how they were. Let’s go, let’s go. Get this thing done, and I love that.

I hope you’ll have a good day. I know Christmas Eve is coming, and of course, this weekend the Lord’s day. And then Christmas day, by His grace, we’ll talk to you on Monday. Have a great day.
