Today, the Book of Leviticus. Instead of one verse, I want to give you two chapters. In these two chapters, chapter 13 and 14, they’re dealing with leprosy and how that leprosy destroys. I’ve been to a leper colony, and I’ve seen firsthand what it does. But in those two chapters, this is hard to believe, 82 times he mentions the word “priest,” and the priest was responsible to make sure that leprosy was getting out of the house, and removed out of the house. Here’s how you deal with it before you go back to people. I need to make sure that I have approval; you have my approval. The priest was very important in the lives of the people of God.
We are just mere men, and I shudder to think how weak I am. But I’m supposed to be a man that’s a shepherd to the sheep, and I want to challenge every father, be a good shepherd, every mother a shepherdess, every teacher a shepherd, every deacon, all of us, and let’s be responsible to live holy lives and make sure that those around us stay clean and holy. Otherwise, that leprosy affects the entire family and the entire assembly.
Have a wonderful day.
