This week, we’re going to look at 2 Chronicles, some great verses that God’s really blessed my heart with, and I hope He’ll bless yours.
We’re in 2 Chronicles chapter 1. God said, “Ask,” verse number 7, “what I shall give thee.” And Solomon said to the Lord, “Thou hast shown great mercy to David, my father, as made me to reign in thy stead.” But here’s the verse 10, “Give me now wisdom and knowledge that may go out before these people. I need wisdom.”
And today, you, me, this one right here, we need wisdom. Wisdom is discernment. I need to know what to say and what not to say. I need to know how to say it. I need to know how my mind interprets things. I need to be very careful with everything I do. I need wisdom in dealing with a mate and with children and grandchildren, and staff members and churches and church members, and college students and high school students, and wisdom with my neighbors. I need wisdom. If any of you lack wisdom, let a master of God. There’s a great verse 2nd Chronicles 110.
