Good morning. It is an honor to bring to you the help for today and also for the next couple of days as well.
I come to you, I’m in the book of Proverbs chapter 11. I’d like to read a verse here. The Bible says, “Where no counsel is, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”
You know, the Bible tells us that it’s important to have these counselors, these good counselors. You know, a lot of times we look to our friends and our peers, and sometimes there’s nothing wrong asking them questions. But for the more important questions in life, for the most important steps and decisions, it’s important that we have counselors that have been down the road. The Bible tells us it’s important to have these counselors in life. The Bible also tells us that there’s safety.
I don’t know about you, but I want to be safe. For example, my daughter or my son, I’ve always encouraged them not to run in the street or to wait and look both ways. Why? Because there’s safety in that. And so you’ve got to be careful with that in life. Same thing. It’s important that we have those who help us in life.
And so for the next couple of days, I’d like to give us some examples and share a couple of people who helped counsel me throughout life. And so we’ll be seeing that. But who are some of the counselors you have in your life?
