The very last verse in the book of Judges in the Bible says, and says it twice in this book, “every man did that which is right in his own eyes.” I think we all have a tendency to do that, don’t we? I don’t believe one of us could say, “I have a perfect record.” I just live for God and live for others all the time.
Unfortunately, most of us know what it is to run to the beat of our own drum. The greatest marriages, the greatest homes, the greatest churches, the greatest country are those that live not for themselves but for Jesus Christ. Live for the name of Christ and live for the work of Christ and live for the family, the home, the marriage.May this be not only a great day but a great, great, great week as we seek to dethrone self and exalt Him. And please, let’s work not to do that which is right in our own eyes. Well, I believe, “Oh no, what does God want me to do?”
Have a great weekend. God bless you.
