I’ll try to be a little quicker today. I normally try to be a minute, minute and a half. I was over two minutes yesterday. Here’s this. Listen to this.
“Luke 2:2, and this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.”
Cyrenius was not a good man. He was the governor around 1 AD, 2 AD, 3 AD, 4 AD. He married the first wife and then divorced her. He married the second wife and divorced her. Her dad tried to poison him because he was such an evil man. But you know, God was going to use this evil man to bring Joseph and Mary to exactly the place where God wanted them.
I don’t know what torment you’re going through because of some evil man. But God just may be using this heathen like he used Cyrus, what we’d call an unsaved man, New Testament term for an Old Testament man. God used him to build the temple and to restore the temple.
God’s going to do something right in your life today. Trust him. Have a great day.
