On help for today, I want to speak to you today about loving your mate. God says, “Love the Lord thy God,” and God says, “Love thy neighbor.” All but husbands, love your wives as Jesus loved the church and gave himself (Ephesians chapter 5).
If you’re married, and I know many men, even men in the ministry, they weren’t married and their wives passed away, and they’ll tell you how their heart is. It’s so shattered. We have people in this church, their mates have passed away, and they miss their mates. While you have a mate, don’t argue today. Don’t defend yourself. Don’t have to, I got. I’ve got my two cents. You don’t have two cents to give, you don’t have two nickels to rub together. You’re part of my church, my goodness. If you’re part of my church, I’m gonna get it out of you.
Love your mate today, love your sweet wife. Love is more than just saying it, it’s expression to meet needs, and love your wife, love your husband today. And consider it might be the very last day you have one another to cherish. Love your mate. Have a great day.
