Hello friends and welcome to Help For Today. The thought I wanted to give you this morning is that everyone lives for something. What are you living for?

“Jesus Christ was the perfect example that we can all use in our lives about living for others. He fed the hungry, He healed the sick, and He ultimately gave His life on the cross to save us from our sins. He was the perfect example.

The disciples that follow Him lived to serve Jesus Christ. They dropped everything that they were doing when they were called to serve the King of Kings. Today, we have men like Pastor Treiber who do the same, who live for others, who live for the ministry, and who live for the members of North Valley Baptist Church. The staff and faculty at Golden State Baptist College strive to do the same thing and live to train the next generation of full-time Christian servants.

We also have the same thing here at the great North Valley Baptist School. The staff and faculty strive to train and give a rooted foundation to the young people that attend the North Valley Baptist School, giving them the tools and the resources and the equipment needed to live life as a Christian.

Let me challenge you, what are you living for? Are you living for personal gain? Are you living for yourself or are we living to please God? Joshua 24:15 says, “‘choose you this day whom you will serve.'”

May we choose to be a light in this dark world and may we live for the cause of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
