We’re in the book of Judges today, chapter number one, and today, this week, we’re gonna be looking at verse number four. And the Bible says, “And Judah went up.” We’ve talked about how God called the tribe of Judah, how they went up, how they were afraid. They had Simeon, their brother, go with them. And now Judah goes up and finally fights the battle. And the Bible says, “And Judah went up, and the Lord delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand.”

Let me just encourage you today, the Lord always delivers. The Lord always comes through. You don’t need to worry about it. You don’t need to be afraid of it. You don’t have to think about, “I don’t know if God’s gonna come through this time.” The Lord will deliver. The Lord always comes through on his promises. You know it’d be one thing, and sometimes it happens even in my own life where I have the best intentions, and I know what I want to do, and I will promise my wife that I’m going to do something for her. And no matter the intentions, no matter how much I wanna fulfill that, there are times where, I’m sorry to admit this, don’t be watching my wife, don’t be watching, Jared, but there are times I. forget. And there are times where I cannot fulfill the promises that I make.

But you know what? That doesn’t happen to God. That does not happen with God. He is more than able to meet our needs. He is more than able to deliver it every time, no matter the circumstance or the situation. And you know what else happens with God? He never forgets. He doesn’t go, “Oops, I forgot to fulfill that promise for that person.” “Oops, I really can’t meet that need even though I told him that I would.” God always comes through. Take an encouragement in that fact this morning that God always delivers.
