Today, we have moved from Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Chapter 3, now all the way over to Chapter 24, Chapter 24 verse 15, where Joshua says as he’s now old, his journey is complete. He has served God, he served the people of God, and he gathers them together and says, “I want to talk to you. I want to give you some last-minute instructions before I go to see my God. Choose you this day, whom you will serve. Who are you going to serve today?”
You know, I’m so ashamed to tell you, it’s so easy to serve myself. Isn’t it amazing how weak we are? We serve our wants, our desires, our flesh. We, we, we, we, we take care of ourselves. You know, number one. “Oh no. He must increase.” John 3:30. “I must decrease.” It’s time to decide. Who’s going to get you? Sunday school, are you gonna be there Sunday? Choose, choose for Sunday morning, choose for Sunday night, choose for tithing, choose for serving God, choose that you are gonna stay true, and I will stay true to the King of Kings.
