Yesterday, we spoke about stepping out by faith and discovering what God has in store for us. The first thing that we should discover is God’s plan. God has a specific plan for each born-again and saved believer. First Corinthians 12 lays out for us that at the moment of salvation, God gives each of us a spiritual gift. And each of us has something to offer within the body of Christ, a specific plan, or a specific purpose that God has for us to fulfill. Nobody else can fulfill God’s plan for your life like you can. If God has a perfect will for you, you are the only one who is able to fulfill it. God obviously will choose different people for different reasons, and He will choose somebody to fill your plan if you are unable to, but that’s not God’s perfect will. God’s perfect will is for you to surrender yourself and to give up of yourself and to be available to Him for God’s plan.

The first thing that we should discover is God’s plan for our life. This is something that God has specifically for each of us to fulfill. Not everybody can be the head of the body of Christ. Not everybody can be the hand. Some people have to be the foot, and some people have to be the ear, and some people have to be the eyes. We each have a perfect will of God for our life. Can I encourage you? Don’t be discouraged if you’re a foot. Don’t be discouraged if you’re just the hand. Everybody has a perfect will, and everybody has a perfect place and a specific purpose within the body of Christ to fulfill.

As we learn about the discoveries and we have all of these youth here this week of Youth Conference, it kind of encourages us to discover God’s plan for our life.
