Hello, I’m reading from Acts chapter 17, verse 11. The Bible says, “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

The apostle Paul was persecuted in Thessalonica, and he went to Berea, and there’s a characteristic of the people in Berea that I want us to carry with us in the year 2024. The Bible says they received the word with all readiness of mind. They were eager to learn what God had said. And also it says, “And they searched the Scriptures daily.” That’s a good habit for us. Every single day we should be in the Word of God.

And then whatever God teaches us or tells us in the Word of God, let’s believe what He says and obey. And if we just take those three ingredients, let’s be eager to learn what God has to say and search the Scriptures daily, and then believe and obey whatever God says. I believe we’ll have a good year in 2024.

Thank you.
