Luke chapter 2, verse 5: “To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.” Did you know, the story is that espoused means engaged? And Joseph, he was such an honorable man. He was willing to put her away and not bring ridicule to her. But that which was conceived in her was by the Holy Ghost. You know, the groom would prepare during this engagement period, then go back. And he would generally build a Jewish home, his father’s house. They would build a place for the bride. And then, when it was unbeknownst to her, the date or the hour, he’d come and keep your lamps trim and ready to go. Because he’s coming back to take you to his father’s home! He prepared it for you, the bride. And we have a place today that’s being prepared for us. In my father’s house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This week, we’ve been looking at the story of Luke 2. We will next week. But you see how God has orchestrated everything. Please, let me wind up and end the week. God has orchestrated everything, right now, in your life. No mistakes. I don’t always like what I see. I don’t understand it all. But God has a perfect plan for your life.

Have a great day and a great weekend.
