We’re in the book of Philippians this week, and we’ve looked at how we ought to love one another and pray for one another. But today, Philippians 1, verse number 6, yeah, “being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you” – that started at salvation, that’s when it began – “he created that good work, and you shall perform it till the day.” Now today, God’s done a good thing in your life, and God will continue to fulfill that.
You’ll never lose your salvation, eternal security. The Holy Spirit of God will never leave you, and if you have not the Spirit of God, it’s because the Bible says you’re none of His. Our God is watching over us today; He has guardian angels caring for us, the book of Hebrews tells us. And so may I say that, and by the way, our great Savior is interceding on our behalf in heaven, and the accuser of the brethren comes in Revelation 12, and he accuses us before the throne.
The Father’s the Son said, “That’s my child right there.” God loves you today, and because of that, whatever God’s doing in your life, it’s for our good. And count on that, take Romans 8:28 and claim it today. He will perform this great work in our life. Have a great day!
