Wisdom, as described by Webster, is “the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships; insight; good sense of judgment.”
Yet, I was reminded today in Proverbs 7:1-4 of God’s wisdom. As Christians, we are commanded to keep the words and commandments of God.
- Verse 1 – “My son keep my words.”
- Verse 2 – “Keep my commandments.”
- Verse 3 – God says we are to “Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.”
God’s wisdom is always better than man’s, and one way of understanding this is to see a situation as God does. God reminds us in I Corinthians 3:19, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.”
During these difficult and unprecedented days, we must lean on the mighty wisdom of God, for His wisdom and understanding is supreme. Proverbs 4:7 “Wisdom is the principal thing: therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
