I’d like to speak to you about the name which is above every name, the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Others think our Lord is just a prophet. Others think our Lord is just a carpenter’s son, a myth. Our Lord Jesus Christ is misunderstood by so many, but I’m glad I know who He is.

“And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding that we may know Him, that is true, and we are in Him, that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ.” The Bible says this is the true God and eternal life. No one ever was conceived like our Lord. No one ever lived for others like our Lord. And no one ever taught like Jesus. And no one ever preached like Jesus. And no one ever served like Jesus, our Lord, and no one ever won souls like Jesus, and no one ever changed lives like Jesus, and no one ever prayed like Jesus, and no one ever loved like Him.

Oh, He began His earthly ministry by being hungry, but He is the bread of life. Our Lord ended His earthly ministry by being thirsty, yet He is the living water. Oh, our Lord became weary, yet He is our rest. He was accused of having a demon, yet He cast out demons. Our Lord wept, yet He wipes away our tears. Our Lord was sold for 30 pieces of silver, yet He redeemed the world. Our Lord was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, yet He is the Good Shepherd. Oh, no one ever wept like our Lord, and no one ever healed like Jesus, and no one ever worked like Jesus, no one ever forgave like Jesus, and no one ever died like Jesus. And guess what? No one ever rose from the grave like Jesus and no one ever coming back like Jesus. Jesus, what a wonderful name.
