Here’s a Bible term I want us to think about today: kindness. Well, we’ve looked about grace, and we’ve looked this week about mercy and justification and the love of God, or to love people on the journey of life, but how about this kindness? What a kind God! But the Bible says in Ephesians 4:32, “And let’s carry it with us, be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake that forgiving you.” May you please just be kind to people on the journey of life.

“Oh honk, honk, honk! I was there the other day; they just sat there and the way that light they had was… now I know what they’re doing… texting.” I gave him a little tap of a horn; I think that’s okay, but oh, the other day, I get honk, honk like “get going!” I wasn’t kind. Sometimes I get so weary with myself. I want to be a kind man today. Let’s be kind on the journey of life.

Kindness begins in your home, with your mate, with your children, with your family. And let’s extend it outside our doors to God’s people and to those that know not Christ as Savior. Put some kindness in your eyes, in your face, your smile, in your deeds. Show a little love and kindness today. Have a great day.
