Hello friends, it’s Brother Trieber. I’m with you on Help4Today and very excited about it. Matthew chapter 22. Here’s here’s the thought of the day, and I want to spend some time the next few days on this word, “love.” I want us to love God. That’s the Word of God — with all of our heart.

You know, the Pharisees gathered together in Matthew 22 and they hired a lawyer to pose a question. “Master, what is the great commandment?” And he says, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Let’s take the first one today, love God. Today, tell Him you love Him.

I have the most wonderful wonderful wife, wonderful family. We have three kids and three of their mates, and 14 grandkids. I think there’s 22 of us. We never leave one another’s presence without saying, “I love you.” Why? Because we do love them. When I was in college, I learned this song: “What words can I find to tell Jesus I love Him? Because He first loved me. I’m so glad that Jesus loves even me.” But today, on this Help4Today, I’m going to do my best to tell him throughout the day, “Lord, I love you.” Have a great day.
