Well, let’s work our way through today. Verse 13 and suddenly, the Bible says, “suddenly there was with the angel multitude of the heavenly host, here it is praising God. Let’s spend Christmas praising God.”
“Oh, this traffic! Well, that’s what Christmas is about, all these long lines at these stores.”
“Well, shop online. I don’t know how to do that. I love going Christmas shopping and the lines are… “
And you know, have you heard me say this before? The lines are big and the guy behind me complaining, the lady in front of me is complaining. I said, ‘What’s your fault?’ And they said, ‘What? It’s your fault!’ “Especially you back here behind me. Everybody knows I hold the world’s record for the worst line to choose. I chose it. You should have seen the sign on my back.”
They normally laugh. I don’t want to spend my life today complaining as a grump, upset in life, honking the horn. How about praising God? If angels can praise God and they have not experienced redemption, just think what we should do. We’ve been born again.
Could you spend this day praising God for all that he’s done? See if you could just go through the alphabet, A through Z, praise the Lord. And think of, you can praise in Scripture today and in song. God bless you, have a wonderful day.
