I want to speak to you today about the brevity of time and striking while the irons are hot. The Bible says in 1st Kings in chapter 2, verse 1, “And David drew nigh that he should die.” And then when you get over to verse number 10, “And David slept with his father’s.” Life’s but a vapor. I don’t have to explain that to you. You know it appears for a moment and it’s gone.
May I suggest to you today, if you’re going to do anything of any value, for those that you love and for the work of God, do it today. Because before you know it, your journey is going to come to an end. And we always live not for the beginning, but for the end. The end of a thing is better than the beginning. I hope that you’ll have a good day today. And let’s make it a day where we realize that our life is but a vapor.
