On this Thanksgiving month, on this Monday, I want us to give thanks for God’s holiness. We serve a holy God. Psalm 30, verse 4: “Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.” What a holy God we have. Pure, clean, righteous, without sin. We serve the God. Now, others claim to be God, but our God is holy. So if our God is holy, 1 Peter 1, 15 and 6, as He is holy, so be ye holy. I’m to be holy today. I’m to be set apart. I’m to be pure. I’m to be clean today. But it starts with His holiness. In my life, it doesn’t start with my holiness.

If I get His holiness worked in, and it’s been worked in through salvation, I’m supposed to then, Philippians, work out my salvation. I’m to work out what God worked in. That doesn’t talk about work salvation. It’s just the opposite. He worked it all. He did a great work. And I want to thank Him today that I serve a holy, perfect, pure God.

Have a great Thanksgiving month, and a great day today.
