Today, I find myself in 2nd Corinthians chapter 9, verse 15. “Thanks be unto God,” here it is, “for his unspeakable gift.”
You know, when it’s unspeakable, I don’t have enough words. I can’t even express it. I am so thankful today for that unspeakable gift of salvation. Here I am, an enemy, a stranger, a foreigner, a sinner. I’m away from God, I’m alienated, and God’s mercy, God’s love saw me in my condition, born a sinner, away from God.
And just about, oh, 15 minutes from where I’m standing right now, in a little church that’s out in sort of a country setting on Sunday night in 1956, God spoke to my heart about my awful, tremendous need. I was an awful sinner. I was a little boy, I know, but I was a sinner. I walked forward that night and got saved. I tell you what, it is joy unspeakable and full of it. I can’t express it. I’m so glad my name was written in the book of life that night. I’m saved and I know that I’m saved.
Thank God in this month. Thank Him today for your salvation. Ponder your salvation, that I may know Him and the fellowship of His sufferings. Go back to Calvary and enjoy the fact that you’ve been born again. If you’re not saved, get a hold of our website today. We have a plan of salvation that’s right there.
