Help for today. Here’s the verse we’re in the Christmas story, Luke 2 verse number 9: “and the angel of the Lord came upon them, and The glory of the Lord shone round about them, and we were so afraid, they were so afraid. The angel of the Lord… you know, there are so many people in this story – Mary and Joseph, Cyrenius was governor, and we have the shepherds and we have the innkeeper. And now, the angel. Angels are ministering spirits.
He was chapter one. They minister to us, and I love the fact that God sends angels to care for his people, love his people, and Guardian angels. I wonder how many times a guardian angel protected me while I was driving or perhaps flying somewhere. And today, be aware of the fact that God has placed within your heart a Holy Spirit.
What a giving God – salvation, angels, and to protect us and to care for us and to minister to us. Think about the goodness of God, what he’s giving you today. Have a great day.
