Hello friends, it is Monday, and we’re in the book of Ezra. Help for today. Ezra, this week, verse 1. The Bible says, “Now in the first year Cyrus, king of Persia, that the word of the Lord came by the mouth that Jeremiah might be fulfilled.” Listen to this. The Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus, king of Persia.
Here’s an unsaved king. God stirred his spirit. Cyrus did great things for the name of Christ. He did it as what we would call in the New Testament an unsaved king. He was not a godly man, but he believed that God’s work was important. And the Bible says, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord.”
I want to just challenge you today. Don’t get overwhelmed with all this garbage politically. Don’t get all overwhelmed with that. God may want to stir the spirit of us, an unsaved king today. Let God handle that. And whatever your situation in life, it may not be the political, but let God raise up others in your life and stir their spirit to help you on the journey of life.
God bless you, have a good day.
