Hello friends, we are in Psalm chapter 27, verse 1 and verse 3 in help for today. The Bible says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?” I am thankful today that God is the source of our strength. This verse reminds us that we have God’s unwavering security in each and every one of our lives. Though problems arise, though trials may come, I’m glad that the Bible biblically backs us because God is the source of our strength. The Bible there asks, “Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid?”

There’s nothing we ought to fear. There’s nothing we ought to be afraid of because God is the source of our strength. This verse has been a tremendous impact in my life because I’ve personally claimed it and whenever trials come and whenever there’s times of fear and uncertainty and it feels like you can’t do it all on your own, God gives you comfort because God is our light. God is our salvation and God is the strength of our lives. There is nothing we ought to fear. We ought to choose to walk in his light.

We ought to embrace his salvation and we ought to draw strength from him each and every day. And we find that if we do all those things our fears go away and our hearts are filled with peace.
