This week on “Help for Today,” I’m trying to give points to help us not destroy our lives with a cell phone.

One thing I would like to encourage you today is to have phone-free times when you are with others, for example, at a restaurant. Have you ever been to a restaurant? You’ve seen multiple people around the table and they’re all on their cell phone. They’re not communicating with each other. That should be a cell phone-free time.

Perhaps you’re with your kids. That would be a good time to have a cell phone-free time. Think of times maybe when you’re in bed. That should be a time to sleep. It should be a cell phone-free time. There should be times throughout our day where this is not around. And I hope that will be a help for you today here on “Help for Today.”
