Help for the day. I hope that you’ll let someone know one other person about this platform and this Opportunity where I get to talk to you for about one minute every day. Sometimes a minute and a half, and I want to always leave us something to help us for the day today.
I opened up my Bible, and I’m in I Peter 5:7. I want to, this week, perhaps next week, just give you a favorite Bible verses. Here’s one: “Casting all your care upon him, for he care for you.” The word “casting” is just what the fisherman does. He cast it out. He throws something out. And God says, “I want you to throw all your cares.” It’s like, throw them away. Where are you gonna throw? Jesus said, what a wonderful Savior.
Listen to this: “Casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.” Dr. Garlock wrote that song years ago when his heart was broken. He cares for you. He cares for you. He ever loves and cares for you. He’ll do what no one else can do, for Jesus cares for you. Cast your burden on him today. Don’t carry it. It’s gonna break you. Cast it on him. Have a wonderful day.
