I’m coming to you today in the persuading name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 4.13, a very familiar verse, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” These very simple verses simply say whatever God commanded us to do, we can do it through Jesus Christ.

Christ for sickness, Christ for health, Christ for poverty, Christ for wealth, Christ for joy, Christ for sorrow, Christ today and Christ for tomorrow, Christ my life and Christ my light, Christ for morning, noon, and night, Christ my rest and Christ my food, Christ above my highest good, Christ my shepherd and I his sheep, Christ my righteousness divine. Oh Christ for me, for he is mine. Christ my teacher, Christ my guide, Christ my rock, and Christ in him I hide. Christ hath brought me nigh to God, Christ hath shed his precious blood. Christ my master and Christ my head, Christ who for my sins hath bled.

We sing that song, “Christ for me,” yes it’s Christ for me. He’s my Savior, my Lord, and King. I’m so happy, I’ll shout and sing. Oh it’s Christ for me. Let’s share God’s name to lost people this week. Oh let’s live for his name this week. Oh let’s continue to serve, continue to give, continue to stay faithful, continue to love that precious name.

What a persuading name, the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
