Good morning. It’s our final hope for today. Thank you for allowing me to be here. And we continue and finish in the book of Psalm, chapter 37, verses 23 and 27.

Verse 23 says the following, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he delighteth in his way.” There’s that word again, delight.

Verse 27, “Depart from evil and do good, and dwell forevermore.” You know, our spirit truly is ready, but our flesh is weak, the Bible tells us. And the New Testament says, “Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” Sometimes we want to do the right, but at the same time, our flesh is kind of leaning towards the other way.

I kind of encourage you today, and just keep these different thoughts in your mind. Delighting, trusting in the Lord, waiting patiently for him. Delighting myself in the Lord, and committing your ways to him, because you can never go wrong.

I’m happy to say that I get to serve here on staff. It’s more than I deserve, it’s more than I’ve ever dreamed. And I’m grateful for it, but I don’t believe I would have been here without this example. Exactly what this passage says, and that is waiting on the Lord, committing my way, delighting thyself also in the Lord, because he truly has given me the desires, and he can to you too. If he can use me, he can use you. He can use anybody. If he’s been able to use past servants in the past who are not perfect, but he was able to still use them in a mighty way, may I encourage you this week to keep the main thing the main thing, and trust, commit thy way, delight thyself, and also wait patiently for him.
