Hello friends, and welcome to Help for Today. My name is AJ Ermita, and I’m the media teacher here at the Great North Valley Baptist School. I wanted to share with you this thought that comes from Isaiah chapter number six. It’s three words and three words that you’re all familiar with: “Here am I.” “Here am I” was Isaiah’s response to God’s call in his life. It was a humble response.

Whether you’re a young person or an adult, a new Christian or a seasoned Christian, we ought to respond to God’s leading and calling with “here am I.” If God is talking to us, we ought to respond. If our pastor is preaching or giving us wisdom, we ought to respond with “here am I.”

Let me encourage you today to be available, to be adaptable, and to have the right attitude towards God’s calling in our lives. That humble answer can lead to courage in the Christian life. Your availability today can lead to extraordinary things. Let me challenge you to step forward in your faith and commit to this thought today.
