Today, I’m going to read you a few verses because for our church, we’re nearing our 49th year, July 14th. And next year, on July the 13th, will be 50 years of age in 2025. And so, this year’s theme is “Journey to Jubilee.” And isn’t it amazing that Jubilee is a very special time? The Bible says, “And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:8-10).
We are very excited, North by Baptist Church. That’s this theme of “Journey to Jubilee.” And in the 50th year, we’re gonna, by the grace of God, and this year, but especially the 50th, get liberty through Jesus Christ to every four corners of the earth.
May we live in a Jubilee year this year and this day. God bless each of you.
