Today, we continue in the book of Ruth. Today, in the book of Ruth, in chapter number two and verse two, “Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, ‘Let me now go to the field and glean ears of corn after him whose sight I shall find grace.'” And she said, “Daughter, go.” And she went and came and gleaned the fields after the reapers.
“I have my Bible written.” Work! Ah, today, learn the joy of work. Young people, if you’re listening, learn what it is to work. Somebody said to me years ago, “Oh, I tell you what, I get done at the end of the day and work an eight-hour shift, I’m tired.” Well, guess what? That’s what’s supposed to happen, the sweat of our brow. Whatever God’s gave you to do, whatever God’s placed in your hand today, let’s enjoy work. If a man will not work, he should not eat. Let’s work. Let’s put our effort into something valuable today for not only our own lives but for all others. Abound in the work of the Lord as well. Have a great day. God bless you.
