Proverbs 1:7 says, “Seek knowledge.” Knowledge is perception. And God wants us to perceive our environment, what is going on around us.
I want to perceive what needs my wife has. I want to perceive what needs our children have and their mates. I want to perceive what needs my grandchildren have.
I want to perceive the deacons in my church, the staff in my church, the church members that are here. I want to pay attention. And really, that’s what knowledge is about, not just for myself and to gain all science and history and mathematics and all these things, but to gain that I might perceive what is your need on the journey of life today.
