Every day, we are inundated with information in emails, radio/television, and social media platforms.  But I find myself asking if what I am reading or hearing is actually true.  Seeking the truth should be something we all strive for in our daily lives.  The Word of God reminds us over 100 times in the New Testament of the word TRUTH.  What is truth?  One definition from Webster says: that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality.”

Be a Doer of Truth
  • John 3:21 – But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Know the Truth
  • John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
God Is Truth
  • Titus 1:2 – In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Though it may be difficult with all that is going on today to try and pick out the truth in much of what we hear, be encouraged and know that our God is a God of truth.  He cannot lie.  His promises are true, and the Word of God is true.

For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
