Today, we find ourselves in Joshua 3, and verse number 13. “And it shall come to pass, as soon as the souls of the feet of the priests bear the ark of the Lord,” the Bible says, “shall rest in the waters of Jordan.” One of the families of our church here, the Flood family, sings, “Step into the water, wait out a little bit deeper.” You know what that’s all about? God says, “I’ll open those waters, you step in them first.” That’s faith.
And on this day, what is needed in my life, the life of Jack Treber, and in your life is faith. For without faith, it’s impossible to please Him. “For he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and He is, a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” “The just shall live by faith.” Let’s make this a day on this Thursday of faith in our God, the God that can do anything but fail.
