Well, you know this verse for the day today, Acts. Let’s see if you can guess what chapter I’m in today. Acts, what? You’re right, chapter 1. I wonder if you know, you’re right again, verse number 8. “But ye shall receive power.” Well, I tell you what, power is great. You just think, just think about muscle power. There it is, hanging down right there. But I’m not talking about muscle power.
Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. Holy Ghost power! And ye shall be, here’s what God has for us today, to be witnesses. In Jerusalem, that’s your immediate area. In Judea, that’s a larger circumference. And as Samaria, even larger yet. And to the uttermost part of the earth. Missionaries, thank you for going on our behalf. I’m not in these fields where you are today, but we’re supporting you in prayer and finances. And many of you that we don’t even know, God bless you for being on the field.
Don’t be weary in well-doing. It’s probably much more difficult where you’re at than where we’re at. But I also want you to know that you represent God and you represent us. But I can do some things here that you can’t because you’re not here. And let’s all today give the gospel to someone and become a witness for Jesus Christ. Have a great day.
