Yesterday, I shared with you our church verse. Well, I want to encourage you with this verse. I’ve signed our church members’ Bibles through the years, and if they’re a Bible college student or a member, I’ve always put this verse. For over 40 some years, 3rd John verse 4: “I have no greater joy than to hear my children walk in truth.” And you know, that’s really the goal for a pastor, a shepherd. For my family and my whole life, but also for my church. I have no greater joy than to hear we’re walking in truth.
Don’t get sidestepped today. Don’t get sidetracked today. Don’t move down another path. Walk in truth. “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” My thought for today is 3rd John verse 4: “I have no greater joy than that my children walk in truth.” Let’s walk in truth today.
