I want to talk to you about prayer. I want to encourage you in the area of prayer. It’s amazing to consider Luke 11. In Luke 11, the Disciples. After witnessing the Lord in many different aspects and areas of life and ministry, they said, Lord, teach us to pray. They were watching Jesus as he prayed, and they longed to commune with the Father the way Jesus communed with the Heavenly Father.

You know, we have a wonderful privilege. And wonderful power at our disposal. In the area of prayer, we have the promise that God hears and answers prayer. In fact, in Jeremiah 33, in verse 3, the Lord said, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

Prayer is just as big as God is big. Prayer is just as strong as God is strong. And I want to challenge you. Spend time in prayer every single day, not just uttering words out into the atmosphere, but pray with a purpose and pray pointedly and pray, expecting God to hear and God to answer your prayer.

There’s nothing too big. There’s nothing too hard. There’s no valley too deep, no mountain, too tall. But prayer can make the difference. And in these days, let us seek God’s face, humble ourselves and pray, and God will still do great and mighty things through the power of prayer. Well, I hope this has been a help in your Christian life.

We’ll see you next time. God bless you.
