Today marks the end of July; the majority of the summer is now in the history books. Though this season is customarily characterized by opportunities of leisure and retreat for most, the campuses of the North Valley Baptist Church and Golden State Baptist College have been hubs of activity as continuous preparations are made for the re-opening of our K–12 Christian schools as well as our Bible college. Our church family is also readying for the fall season, anticipating a rich harvest of souls for Christ and greater feats for His glory.

My challenge to our friends is to reserve some time today to outline your goals, ambitions, and desires for the months of September, October, November, and December. I have always lived by the principle that you never let the day come to you; you go to the day. I also believe that what we endeavor to achieve can be realized if there exists a goal, an ambition, or a desire to complete it.

Therefore, let us end the calendar year strong by seeing our plans to fruition. Do not allow the day to come to you. Do not allow the next few months to come to you. Do not allow the fall and winter seasons to come to you. You go to the hour, the day, the week, and the month. Let us make a plan and work our plan. God bless each of you.

Your friend,

Bro. Trieber
