Thank you for joining us on “Help For Today.” Our passage comes from 2 Kings, in chapter number five. And today, I’d like to encourage you to just go one more time.

Maybe you have that Sunday school class and it’s not going the way you thought it was going to go. Maybe you have that bus route and it’s not growing like you thought it would. Maybe even you’re a pastor and you’re getting a little weary along the way. Can I encourage you today, just keep on going, just go one more time.

You see, in 2 Kings, chapter number five, we have the story of Naaman. Naaman was a great man, a captain of the host of Syria, but the Bible said that he had a condition of leprosy. So Naaman went to the country of Israel. He found the man of God because he heard that he could cure him of his leprosy. The man of God told him to go and dip in the Jordan River seven times. He thought that the man of God was going to come out, clap his hands, strike down fire, do whatever it was. He expected this great miracle, but the man of God just simply told him to go and dip in the Jordan River seven times. Naaman went and he dipped that first time and nothing happened. He dipped that second time and nothing happened. He dipped that third time and nothing happened. But on that seventh time, he came out and his flesh was clean and his leprosy was gone.

Can I say, maybe you’re gonna go out next week and maybe your bus route won’t grow still. Maybe you’ll still have a hard day in Sunday school. Maybe you’ll go the next week after that. But if you’re just faithful, one of these days God’s gonna show up and he’s gonna show how strong and powerful he is in your life. So just keep on going.
